Impact

IMPACTING the world is a priority of the church! Not only do we give to many mission organizations, the Lottie Moon Christmas offering, the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, and support the Cooperative Program,  but we send out our own missionaries as well! We teach missions and we do missions because Christ commanded us to go into all the world and reach them for His Glory! Our Goal is to extend the borders of the church! What do we mean? Acts 1:8  “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”  

We want to challenge our entire church to  "extend the Borders" of God's work through the church.  For this reason, we have 4 major initiatives:

        By God’s grace we will fulfill our mission by ...

• Reaching an ever increasing percentage of the Melbourne community through our weekend worship experience.
• Multiplying disciples through engaging more believers in community, equipping them to serve, and educating them on how to grow in God’s Word.

• By God’s grace we will fulfill our mission by making Christ known throughout our state and country by sending believers out beyond the doors of the church to make an impact for eternity!

3) SAMARIA - THE WORLD

• By God's grace we will fulfill our mission by radically expanding our own mission efforts to the poor and those in need locally through benevolence and local mission efforts, as well as investing a greater percentage of our lives, our knowledge, and our resources with those in the world.
