What is the Golf Outing?
On February 17th, Eau Gallie First Baptist is hosting its Third Annual Golf Outing at Turtle Creek Golf Course in Rockledge.⛳

How does the fundraiser work?

We need your help recruiting golfers and business sponsors! But we also can’t host a Golf Outing without volunteers to make it happen at the golf course. Volunteering at the event and

For all sponsorship levels, you will earn 50% (😲) of the sponsorship fee as a credit towards your camp or mission trip costs. For a hole sponsor, that’s $50. For a Platinum Sponsor, that’s $500!

When you recruit a golfer, you will receive a $30 credit and for a team of four golfers, you’ll earn $120. For golfers, the Outing will sell itself. Get the word out about the Outing and you might just find that $30 per golfer can add up FAST.

(NOTES: These incentives can add up fast. We want you to be able to pay off your trip with this fundraiser, but you cannot raise more than what you owe. Once you’ve met your goal, any additional fundraising will still go to support the Kids, Youth, and Missions ministries of the church. Or better yet, you could invite a friend and get to work on paying their trip off! Youth students may sign up to work the event and have those funds added to their account for future trips.)

So, what do I need to let potential golfers know when I invite them?
Our golf outing includes 18 holes with cart and range balls, lunch on the lawn with live music, entry into a final drawing and an opportunity to win other competitive prizes. The Outing has an 8am shotgun start on February 17th. We charge our golfers $70 per player or $260 per foursome. We offer $5 off to our veterans and first responders to thank them for their service.

What do sponsors need to know?

There are four levels for Sponsors: Hole Sponsor, Silver Sponsor, Gold Sponsor, and Platinum Sponsor.

Platinum Sponsors ($1000): Eight golfers (2 teams), one hole sign, and business listings on all Golf Outing Publications¹.

Gold Sponsors ($500): Four golfers (1 team), one hole sign, and business listings on all Golf Outing Publications¹.

Silver Sponsors ($250): One hole sign and business listings on all Golf Outing Publications¹.

Hole Sponsor ($100): One hole sign

What about volunteering to work at the Golf Outing on the 17th?

We can’t have an Outing without boots on the ground at the golf course! We’ll need help with registration, set up, tear down, and all sorts of other odd jobs in between. Click the ‘Volunteer Availability’ button below and let us know what times you’ll be available to work at the Outing. Unlike previous years, we will be operating in shifts so that we have fresh legs coming for the afternoon! We will put out a final schedule for volunteers by Thursday, February 15th.

How does the fundraiser work?

All you have to do is recruit golfers to play or bussinesses to sponsor! For all sponsorship levels, you will earn a portion of the Sponsorship Gift as a credit toward your tuition payment. $25 for a Hole Sponsor, $50 for Silver, $100 for Gold, and $200 for Platinum. And the Preschool will receive the same dollar amount!

When you recruit a golfer, you will receive a $15 credit towards your tuition payments and an additional $15 in support of the preschool. For a team of four golfers, you’ll earn $60 towards tuition and an additional $60 in support of the preschool.

(NOTES: You cannot earn more than you owe in tuition for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. If you are VPK and do not owe tuition, you may still recruit golfers and sponsors in support of the preschool. Preschool parents are welcome to golf, but you will not be credited for recruiting yourself to golf. You can, however, be credited for recruiting your own business to sponsor.)
